Started by two friends, John Christakos and Maurice Blanks, Blu Dot was founded on the goal to create affordable, well-designed and modern furniture. Blu Dot is recognized for its inventive use of materials, playful sensibility and fabrication/assembly strategies. Their products include everything from seating to storage to accessories, all which feature their signature clean lines and simple forms. Blu Dot is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN and sold at their retail store in New York City and other fine design stores across the US, Canada and abroad. The Loukin Company has been working with Blu Dot since 2004.
